Day 1: Lima to Chachapoyas Flight: Gateway to Northern Peru.

Transfer from your hotel to the airport in our private transport for your flight to Chachapoyas with ATSA Airlines at 8:40 a.m., arriving in Chachapoyas at 10:00 a.m. You will be met at the airport by Kallpa Travel staff and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore the colonial city.

Day 2: Explore Karajia Sarcophagi and Quiocta Cave in Chachapoyas, Peru.

Explore two of northern Peru’s most fascinating treasures in one day Visit the exclusive burial site of the Chachapoyas elite at Karajia Enjoy a traditional lunch in Cruz Pata based on fresh local ingredients Enter the Quiocta Cave a 545 meter underground gallery with stalactites and ancient pictographs

Day 3: Kuelap Fortress in the Clouds – Northern Peru’s Ancient Wonde.

Drive to Nuevo Tingo to board the modern cable car for a scenic ascent to the Kuelap Fortress Located at 3000 meters this site represents the greatest architectural achievement of the Chachapoya culture Enjoy a guided tour of its temples and circular houses followed by a traditional lunch and return to the city

Day 4: Hike to Gocta Waterfall, One of the World’s Tallest Waterfalls.

Departure to the village of Cocachimba to start an 11 kilometer hike through the cloud forest Discover the majestic Gocta Waterfall one of the highest in the world and enjoy the mist and energy of this natural wonder before returning to Chachapoyas

Day 5 : Chachapoyas to Lima Flight – Return from Northern Peru.

Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Lima via ATSA Airlines at 11:00 AM arriving at 12:30 PM End of our adventure in the wonderful land of the Chachapoyas Have a safe return home
